I just placed a $399.00 order with travel to be shipped to Canada. The cost of shipping was $17.95 PLUS an additional $30.00 to Canada so a shipping cost of $47.99. Today UPS tried to deliver the package to me for an additional charge of $136.33.. Yes $136.33 so a total of $184.28 of shipping and handling charges (UPS charging the extra for brokerage at the border) on a $399.00. I refused to accept the package and called Travel Smith to tell them I refused the order and to cancel it. NO word yet on what I will get for a refund. No explanation as to why it cost an extra $30.00 to ship to Canada and they said they have no idea what the UPS charges would be, but that it does say on their site that there may be extra charges for fees, duties etc but they cannot calculate them and they did not disclose this verbally when I placed the order and questioned the initial additional $30.00 in S and H. I like Travel Smith products but feel like I really got tossed on this one.

All the Travel Smith ads specify "free shipping; easy returns and exchanges." I didn't realize that this applied only for an exchange and not for returns. I spent over $100 and was not happy with the items. I tried my best to find something to get in exchange but could not. Now I am having to pay to return the items. I would not have bought anything from you if I knew this. I have ordered items from other online companies and always had free shipping back for full return.

Please offer free shipping -at least on orders over $75 or $100.

Free shipping is a must. I will not place an order if free shipping is not available. This should be at least on orders over $75-100.

I am still trying to figure how to get a coupon code for my order when I have just signed up for a hefty order as a new customer. Also I believe an order f this size deserves free shipping.

I am a Canadian wintering in Florida. I have a Canadian based Mastercard, but the product would be shipped to my U.S. address. Why can I not do this order online even though Canadian terms like Postal Code and Province are used? The pull down screen will not allow this. What, if any, is the way around this?

I feel TravelSmith should have free shipping....most stores have it. Their rep said I should google Travel Smith Free Shipping Codes.....there are none. I have ordered from them before, but money is tight all over....I'll find what I want where I CAN get free shipping. Macy's is just up the street from me, so I don't like paying for shipping. I've tried to enroll in your company for a notice of when I CAN get free shipping.....maybe that will work.

Bill: I agree with you. I called Customer Service and they said there was no free shipping. they apparently do not know about this website. After talking with the girl and telling her that I had the site in front of me and that there was no code #, she went ahead and gave me credit for the shipping

the free shipping link supposedly expiring April 30 does not work. Customer Service says it expired March 31.

How much does TravelSmith charge for shipping?
Standard shipping from TravelSmith.com starts at $4.99 on orders $25 and under and maxes out at $17.99 for orders $300+ unless you use a coupon.
Does TravelSmith ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes, TravelSmith ships to both Alaska and Hawaii, but all orders have to be shipped with Express Service for an additional $8.
Does TravelSmith cover return shipping costs?
There's no additional shipping charge if you're making an exchange but the customer is responsible for delivery costs on returns.
