"Go Frugal" Blog Carnival - Day Five
|
|

Well, we’ve reached the end of the line folks. It’s day five at the Go Frugal blog carnival which makes this our final post. But fear not! The carnival may be over (for now) but the frugal fun is just beginning. Thanks to all our participants as well as our readers for making our first week a big success!
Now we turn it over to our team of talented and thrifty bloggers to help you continue down the path to spending less, saving more and finally “going frugal” for a stress-free financial future. See you soon!
- The Smarter Wallet provides “Money Tips, Consumer News and Product Reviews To Improve Your Finances.” For most of us this is your classic “easier said than done” scenario, but give their simple system a try, and it might be less painful than you think.
- Save Money (great URL!) gives frugal advice on automobiles to vacations and everything in between. But this post about Tax Deductions to Save You Money might save us all the most stress (and cash) over the next couple weeks.
- MomDot.com (run by Trisha Haas, one of our new frugal bloggers) has literally thousands of blogs in its network. One of their many great resources for frugal advice is Bargain Hunting Moms. Their freebie section alone is worthy of a bookmark.
- Bargain Babe comes from Julia Scott, another new member of our blogging team, and as you might expect it’s chocked full of “daily tips for savvy spenders.” But if you prefer your bargains to be heard instead of read, Julia has a bi-monthly radio gig on TalkRadioOne.com. Her latest appearance is tomorrow, 4/3. Don’t miss it!
- Familes.com has a wonderful frugal living blog that teaches us “how to pinch pennies without giving up the good things in life. There’s tons of great stuff, but we love their post on how to grow a “frugal garden” in your backyard. Good for your body and your wallet!
